Term 1, Week 5: Assembly Hosts

This Friday, Room 15, along with our buddies from Room 14 will be hosting the Harakeke ropu assembly at 10am.
Parents are welcome to attend.

Term 1, Week 4: Swimming Carnival

Daily swimming lessons begin for Room 15 in week 5. Students need to bring their togs, a towel and a plastic bag each day.

We got an early taste of swimming action in the form of the school swimming carnival.

It was fantastic to see our students giving maximum effort to be the best they could be in the pool, regardless of swimming strength or confidence. Well done room 15!

Term 1, Week 3: Buddy Class Time!

Room 14, our next-door neighbours, are our buddy class for this year. Room 15 will work with their buddies most Mondays throughout the year.
With the first two Mondays of the term both being public holidays, we had the first opportunity to meet our buddies in week three.
What do buddy classes do together?

• Share experiences.
• Share learning.
• Read to each other.
• Sing together.
• Solve problems together.
• Eat lunch together.
• Host ropu assemblies together.
